30 July: Lavender walk in Kent

Join us for this beautiful Lavender walk in Kent along the valley of the dreamy river Darent. We will walk through wheat and lavender fields, past castles and Roman villas and an impressive Victorian Railway bridge. We will walk on small country roads, but mostly off-road and away from the cars.

Birthday coming up? We will visit the Hop shop. where you can buy Lavender and lovely gifts and goodies to spoil yourself or a friend.
We will take some time to buy lunch or have some tea and cake along the route.

When? Wednesday 10.30 am, we will walk and explore most of the day
Where? Meet at Denmark Hill train station. We will travel to Eynsford together. A return ticket to Eynsford (for the unlucky ones amongst us who don’t have a senior citizen card yet) is £7.20.
Distance: The length can vary slightly depending on the route, but we probably will walk around 10-12 km.
Cost: £10

This walk is for those of you who have done the 4-week learn to Nordic Walk course and have received your Nordic Walking UK freedom Pass. Don’t have your pass? Really want to join? Give me a call to discuss what is possible, and what you can do to join us next time!
