21 May 2017 – Along the river Thames from Barnes Bridge

Our May explorer took us on a lovely walk along the banks of the river Thames. We started in Barnes Bridge, then crossed the river to explore Chiswick House Gardens. From there we walked along the river to Hammersmith bridge to cross the river back to the southbank. The green lane along the south bank led us through the Leg o’ Mutton nature reserve back to Barnes Bridge. We ended our walk with a drink in the White Hart overlooking the Thames.
