Need poles or gear? Save money on postage!

As a couple of you wanted to order Nordic Walking poles, gloves, pole bags and other gear, we have arranged another shop ‘n drop with Nordic Walking UK. This way we combine the order which saves you postage. And because your order gets delivered to me first, you don’t have to worry about staying at home for the courier. I will just bring your order to your next class.

So, how does it work?

If you haven’t done so yet, first go to www.nordicwalking.co.uk to register your freedom card. (this is only for those of you who signed up for the 4-week Learn to Nordic Walk course
Once you have registered, you will get a voucher number, which you can use to get your £5 off your first order.
Call the Nordic Walking UK shop to place your order: 0333 12345 40. Make sure you mention your Freedom card voucher, and tell them you want to put the order in Ailien’s shop ‘n drop delivery.
You pay Nordic Walking UK directly (so make sure you have your bank or credit card handy.
To make sure it gets delivered to me by 20 November, your order needs to be placed before Wednesday 19 November 10 am.
I will bring it to your next class after 20 November, or –if you want them sooner- give me a call on 078 078 3456 4 to arrange an alternative.

Poles you might want to look at:
Leki traveller smart carbon: basically the same as my lovely light 3 piece traveller poles, but with nicer paws (you don’t have to put them in your pocket, as they just clip back). Nice strong and durable Leki straps.

Leki Micro Magic: lightweight and incredibly small (30 cm) to travel with when they are not in use. Super quick to fold out, but, as they are put together like tent poles, your paws might twist around during walking. These still have nice Leki straps you have used in class. These are fixed length poles, and only come in increments of 5 cm, so you will need to know your length. (call me if you need help).

Gabel tour XT: still nice and just as short as my traveller smart carbon, but half the price. They have slightly softer straps, and the connection of the strap is maybe a bit less durable. A lot of my clients bought these poles though, and are very happy with it!

Leki Flash Shark: if you don’t care about folding them up, but just want a super quality pole for a super price, then go for this fixed length pole. For £39 (£34 with your voucher) definitively the cheapest option. The normal retail price is £89.95, so they are really good quality, and you are saving £55 on this pole! They come in increments of 5 cm, so you have to know your length (call me if you need help).

Some of the other members who ordered poles last time wished they had ordered gloves and a pole bag as well, so you might want to check those out too.

Feel free to give me a ring on 078 078 3456 4 if you need any help deciding.
